Located in Urayasu, Chiba, East Tokyo, Disneyland Tokyo is a branch of the Disney franchise that includes Disneyland in California and Magic Kingdom in Florida (USA). The park is divided into seven themed areas: World Bazaar, Tomorrowland, Toontown, Fantasyland, Critter Country, Westernland and Adventureland. Every morning there is a parade of popular cartoon characters and each evening there is a two hour light show.
The DisneySea park, inspired by ocean myths, sets the park apart from its competitors and attracts the fourth largest number of park visitors in the world.
Located at the park entrance is the Mediterranean Harbour, which resembles Italy’s Venice Harbour with romantic channels, the magnificent MiraCosta Hotel, and delicate gondola boats. In the middle of the park sits the Mysterious Island, inspired by Jules Verne’s fiction. Here you can take part in a journey to the center of the earth using the most advanced scientific vehicles.
