Self-drive car rental: If you have an international driver’s license, and are confident about the level of driving in the opposite direction (meaning driving on the left instead of right), you can rent a car is the most convenient way because the road is quite easy to go. There will be some spots on the road where you want to stop for sightseeing or take a photo, take more initiative in moving.

Private car with driver ...

By bus: Take the minibus from Chiang Mai Bus Station to Chom Thong district, then take a taxi to Doi Inthanon. Moving by this way is a bit of hardship and it takes a lot of time to move and wait for the car, so if you intend to go Doi Inthanon for about 2 days, then let’s choose this way.

If you come to this park, remember to come here to take pictures but have nothing more, just to know that you have reached the highest peak in Thailand. Not far from this check-in spot is the stupa which houses the bones of Chao Intha Wichayanon – the last ruler of Chiang Mai. From here, you walk a little further along the path covered moss, green canopy of trees, you will meet the truly milestone that marks the highest point in Thailand, while the signboard outside is only for visitors come to check-in. This area has a lot of very old and perennial trees that will make you feel like Alice lost in the land of gods when stepped here. Make sure you have a camera with very large memory to take the countless beautiful pictures at here.

As a mountain surrounded by rainforests, Don Inthanon certainly possesses spectacular and majestic waterfalls. There are four famous waterfalls in Don Inthanon: Mae Ya, Wachirathan (also known as Vachiratharn), Sirithan and Mae Klang. Only Mae Ya waterfall is that you have to go quite far to access, however, it is the highest, the most magnificent waterfall with the height of 260 meters. The remaining 3 waterfalls are located on the main road so you will easily to reach. Looking at these photos like this will not be able to portray the beauty of these waterfalls, so whether the description or gossip is not effective at all. You must come to admire.

Bonus for you a stop spot for lunch on the road, pretty cool. The people here know how to use the terrain for their business. The small tables will be placed next to the stream and spread canvas to sit, very cool. The dishes are quite popular such as fried rice, pad thai, etc.. but for both mountain climbing and stream wading plus this cool view is 100 times better and more delicious. Note, after you finished eat, you should not throw anything in the stream, please for a green environment, clean, beautiful.
