Sun Moon Lake is the largest freshwater lake and also the most famous lake in Taiwan. The price for bike renting is about 200 NTD for 2 hours (~ 32 USD).
Apart from riding a bike, you can also choose to take the ropeway to the lake to enjoy the panoramic view of Sun Moon Lake. The total area of this lake is 4 hectares. The green surface of the lake surrounded by the mountains makes it quite great. This cable car is 1.8km long, one way takes about 30 minutes.
