7:30 am: Start with a cup of coffee
The Romans started the day with a cup of cappuccino or a fresh cornetto. If you want to enjoy a great breakfast, you should go to the Cristalli di Zucchero in Monteverde. This is a famous pastry shop in Rome, with a small branch in the northwestern corner of Circo Massimo.

8:30 am: Visit The Saint Peter’s Basilica

You will find long queues of visitors who are waiting to visit this famous church, especially more crowded on the summer and Easter. If possible, you will have plenty of time to admire the magnificent dome or Pietà sculpture designed by the famous painter Michaelangelo. The church is also home to many of his paintings.

10 am: Admire The Vatican Museum
At about 10 o’clock there will usually be a quick parade around the museum’s wall to the entrance of the museum. This is the opportunity for you to admire and take photos of the bodyguards in colorful costumes.

Pope Julius II founded the Vatican Museum, one of the largest museums in the world, which preserves works from the huge collections of the Roman Catholic Churches, which includes some of the most famous classical sculptures and masterpieces of the Renaissance. 12 pm: Enjoy Italian ice cream

After leaving the Vatican at noon, stop at the Old Bridge – a small ice cream store opposite the Vatican walls, which is said to have the best ice cream in Rome.
If the Vatican Museum is so familiar to you, visit the MAXXI – National Museum of Art of the 21st century. This is a museum of contemporary art, managed by the Department of Cultural Heritage and designed by architect Zaha Hadid.

Then you can take the electric car back to Piazza del Popolo and from there go up through del Corso, where you can find the relics of the Pantheon temple.
1 pm: The Castel Sant’Angelo
From the Vatican Museum, walk to St. Peter’s Basilica and through the Della Conciliazione hotel; you will see the tomb of Emperor Hadrian, which is also known as Castel Sant’Angelo. Now it becomes a museum and art gallery.

This is a high cylindrical building; originally it was used as a tomb for Roman Emperor Hadrian and his family. Later, the building was used by the popes as a fortress and castle, and now it becomes a museum.
Castel Sant’Angelo was the tallest building in Rome. If you stand here you can see four famous rivers: the Danube, the Ganges, the Rio de la Plata and the Nile, and the Baroque church of Borromini. Navona Square.

The Doria Pamphilj Museum is an ideal place to admire the best works of the Renaissance in Rome. Visiting Palazzo Doria Pamphilj, you will have a fun and inexpensive trip, starting at the dancing hall, the big galleries of Jan Brueghel, Titian, Raphael, Caravaggio, and Garofalo. The most important part of the museum is the portrait of Pontiff Innocent X.

5 pm: The Colosseum
After escaping the busy traffic in Venezia Square, take the Via dei Fori Imperiali way connecting Venetian Square to the Colosseum. This work has existed since 80 AD and has undergone many renovations.
