Not only Van Long is the nature reserve,but this wetland also is the home of plentiful of fascinating landscapes. Van Long is known as the “Gulf of no wave” as when you go on a boat on the lagoon, you will find out that water surface is calm like a giant mirror. The watercolor clearly reflects powerful strokes of carving of limestone blocks shaping appropriately to their names such as Meo Cao, Mam Xoi, Hom Sach, Da Ban, Nghien, Mo Coi, Co Tien, and so on.

Thung Nham Bird Park
Thung Nham bird Park, located in Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu District, is one of the tourist spots converging all cultural factors, spirituality, landscapes, and biodiversity. Besides the enjoyable feeling when sitting on the boat to contemplate the lagoon, tourists can explore the wildlife of the nearly 40 species of birds with about 50 thousand ones.
Cuc Phuong National Park

Phat Diem Cathedral
Cathedral of Phat Diem building (often called Phat Diem Cathedral), a catholic cathedral, which is about 22 hectares wide, is located in the Phat Diem town, Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province. Phat Diem Cathedral is appreciated by the press as one of the most magnificent churches in Vietnam and “Catholic capital” of Vietnam.
Tam Coc, which means “three caves“, includes Ca Cave, Hai Cave, and Ba Cave. All three caves are formed by the Ngo Dong River piercing the mountains. Tam Coc is a boat line operated firstly in the Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourist resort. Ca cave lengthens 127 m, piercing a large mountain, whose entrance widens more than 20 m. In the cave, the climate is quite cool and many stalactites hanging down with multifaceted shapes.
Bich Dong locating 2 km far from Tam Coc wharf (green cavern) was named by the prime minister Nguyen Nghiem, the father of the great poet Nguyen Du, in 1773. In front of the cavern is a branch of Ngo Dong river winding by the mountain side, and across the river is the rice fields.
