This point is located in the southwest corner of the island, the Jeju island is quite huge so travel between the points also to several dozen kilometers. In our opinion, Songaksan is a little more beautiful than Seongsan, you can go around the hill here along the cliff overlooking the sea, the distance of 2.5-3km.

The park for adult because this is a collection of statues with the content of love according to its name, and the sensitive postures that if you have children we think you should not come here. A 50-minute bus ride from the city center, the road leading to this small temple will take you through a splendid bright-yellow canola flowers garden, very beautiful and so lovely (of course, if you are lucky enough to be in the right season). Standing at the temple, you can hear the bell mixed with the sound of the waves, very quiet and fresh. On the other side of the road there is a horse farm surrounded by grasslands, the scenery is nothing more charming!

The north beaches of the island

jeju-island-hyeopje-beach-1
Hyeopjae Beach

According to our opinion, Jeju is not an island with beautiful beaches, the island’s highlights are the cliffs formed by volcanic eruptions. However, the north of the island there are some beaches if you want to explore, like Hyeopjae Beach, which is quite small, but there are activities such as windsurfing, single sailboat because the waves here are very strong. This beach is quite close to Hallim Park.

Eating fresh seafood is a great experience, especially for those who love seafood and can eat fresh food (sashimi). In Jeju you can catch a lot of Haenyeos, which are women who catch seafood without diving equipment, they usually dive in the depth of 20m under the sea, catching fresh seafood. Due to the well-preserved nature of Jeju Island, the seafood here is fresh and diverse. To eat the freshest seafood you can go to the Sungsan harbor or JeongBang Waterfall, where you will meet the Haenyeos fishing and selling seafood on the rocks and coast. Seafood hot pot cost about 25,000 won to 50,000 won depending on the ingredients you choose to put in the pot.

A sincere advice is to buy WIFI 4G or 4G SIM to avoid disconnect to the world.

Jeju Island is huge island so it is necessary to delineate the places or areas that you are going to visit. Jeju travel cost is comparatively high, so if you go for 5 or 6 days, you can divide up to 2 days in Jeju-si city and 2 remain days in Seogwipo-si city.
