Meiji Jingu Gaien Park – The origin of so deep autumn photos

Showa Memorial Park (Showa Kinen Park)

Showa Park is about 30 minutes by train from central Tokyo. In autumn, the leaves here often change color a few weeks earlier than central Tokyo. This is one of the best autumn spots in Tokyo for those who visit Tokyo in early autumn, when the leaves in the city have not yet turned yellow.

The park more than 160 hectares, with trams connecting different areas of the park, the tram ticket is 320 JPY ($3.04)/trip. Or you can rent a bicycle to getting around the park for 410 JPY ($3.09)/3 hours or 520 JPY($4.94)/day.

Mount Takao (Takaosan)

This is the ideal place to trekking to see yellow, red and orange leaves in autumn in Tokyo. From Takao Mountain, you can observe Tokyo City and Mount Fuji. Trekking time to the mountain about 2 hours. There is also a cable car or lift service if you want to leisurely to watch scenery. The best time to view red leaves is from mid-November to the end of November.
