When April comes, it is an unusual occasion for every tourist to visit Nhat Tan and Tay Tuu to capture marvelous photos and have unforgettable moments.
Lily is regarded as the flower symbol of Hanoi in April with pristine white. It’s amazing that even though the flowers are sold in almost every market and along many roads in the city, various citizens still bother to go to the garden to enjoy contemplate.
In Hanoi, the lilies are mainly grown in Tay Tuu (BacTu Liem) and Nhat Tan (West Lake, in Lane 264 Au Co street).
To have the flowers blossomed within the allotted time, gardeners usually plant on the occasion between the September-November lunar month.
The flowers bloom usually begins from the 3rd lunar month and flourishes in mid to late of April.
Flowers are cultivated into the straight beds, so you can easily survey the magnificent view and take wonderful pictures. One garden owner said that in the years having white frost or severe weather, flowers bloomed late and having plenty of pests, so they often let the flowers bloom naturally which created a carpet of white flowers.
