Da Nang – Hoi An 4 Days 3 Nights Itinerary in Detail
Da Nang – Hoi An itinerary 4 days: Day 1: Son Tra Peninsula – My Khe Beach – Dragon Bridge

The first day of the 4 days 3 nights Da Nang – Hoi An tour has officially begun! Arriving in this beautiful city, my first feeling was excitement mixed with a bit of overwhelm by the vibrant atmosphere and modern landscape.
The first destination was Son Tra Peninsula – the “green lung” of Da Nang. This place has a wild, majestic beauty with rolling mountains, tree-lined roads and a blue coastline. I spent time visiting Linh Ung Pagoda, paying my respects to the tallest Buddha in Vietnam and admiring the panoramic view of Da Nang city from above.

If you are “strong enough”, you can experience Paragliding at Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang. Guaranteed to be “extremely” fun.
Next, I moved to My Khe beach – one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. The sea here is very clear, the waves are calm, the sand is white and smooth, very suitable for swimming and playing. I spent the whole afternoon swimming, sunbathing and taking beautiful photos.

At noon, you can have lunch at Bánh xèo Bà Dưỡng (Ba Duong sizzling pancake) at 44 Phan Châu Trinh, Q. Hải Châu – this is one of the famous places to eat in Da Nang and is loved by many tourists.

In the evening, I went to Dragon Bridge – the symbol of Da Nang city. This bridge has a unique architecture with the image of a winding dragon, breathing fire and water every Saturday and Sunday night. I had the opportunity to admire the extremely impressive and colorful fire and water breathing performance of Dragon Bridge.

Da Nang city is also famous for its diverse local cuisine, you can visit some famous restaurants such as: Mì Quảng Ếch Bếp Trang (212 Bạch Đằng, Phước Ninh, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng) or Bún chả cá Bà Lữ (17 Nam Trân, Hoà Minh, Liên Chiểu, Đà Nẵng).

Day 2: Bà Nà Hills – Hoi An Ancient Town
Early in the morning, Da Nang city welcomes the new day with fresh and refreshing air. After a good night’s sleep, I eagerly began my second day of exploration with two impressive destinations: Bà Nà Hills and Hoi An ancient town.
The first destination was Bà Nà Hills, “miniature Europe” in the heart of the city. To reach the top of Ba Na, I traveled by Ba Na Hills cable car, known as the cable car that holds the world record for height.

On top of Bà Nà, I felt like I was lost in a fairyland with colorful flower gardens, unique architectural works and cool air all year round. I visited the French Village, Linh Phong Pagoda, Le Jardin D’Amour Flower Garden, Golden Bridge – the symbol of Ba Na Hills and had fun at Fantasy Park – the most modern entertainment area in Vietnam.
At noon, I enjoyed a lunch buffet at Le Gourmet restaurant with a rich and diverse menu. After recharging, I continued my journey to explore Ba Na Hills.
In the afternoon, I moved to Hoi An ancient town, a world cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO. Walking on the winding small streets, looking at the ancient mossy houses, I felt the peace and antiquity of this place.

I visited the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tấn Ký ancient house, Teochew Assembly Hall, Lantern Street and enjoyed the specialties of the old town such as Cao Lau, Banh Mi Phuong,…

In the evening, I released flower lanterns on the Hoai River, praying for luck and peace. Walking on the old town shimmering with lanterns, I felt the romantic and poetic beauty of Hoi An.

Day 3: VinWonders Hoi An & “Chill” in Hoi An Ancient Town
Because I loved Hoi An Ancient Town so much, I stayed here for a day. In Hoi An, there are many beautiful resorts, hotels and homestays that you can rent at “affordable” prices. Here are some suggestions for you to consider: Riverside White House Hotel, Maison Vy Hotel, Hoi An Ancient House Resort & Spa,…

After enjoying a simple breakfast at the hotel, I headed to VinWonders Nam Hoi An – one of the leading cultural parks in Vietnam – located only about 20 – 30 minutes drive from the old town.
From the moment I entered the gate, I was overwhelmed by the scale and diversity of the rides and activities here. I started with the thrilling games that made my heart pound but also extremely excited. Not only that, the area simulating the cultures of Asian and European countries also fascinated me with its unique architectural works and rich cultural activities.
The Safari area is a unique experience that I was extremely impressed with. Being able to get close to and observe animals from all over the world in their natural environment has broadened my knowledge and love for animals. This is not only entertainment but also learning, making my trip more meaningful.
After hours of “fighting” with the games, my stomach started to growl. VinWonders Nam Hoi An did not disappoint me with a variety of culinary options from local to international. I tried some traditional Vietnamese dishes at a restaurant in the area that simulates Vietnamese culture and felt extremely satisfied. Not only delicious, each dish also tells a story about Vietnam’s rich culinary culture.
At the end of the day, I spent time visiting the souvenir shops. From handicrafts to clothes and jewelry, I found meaningful gifts for myself and my loved ones. This helps me keep beautiful memories of the trip and VinWonders Nam Hoi An.
Day 4: Return to Da Nang – Shopping at Han Market – Return to Ho Chi Minh City
In the morning, I woke up earlier than usual, deciding to spend the last few hours wandering along the ancient streets. The peaceful atmosphere of Hoi An in the early morning filled me with a feeling of regret. I left Hoi An with the promise to return, bringing with me many unforgettable images and memories.

When I arrived in Da Nang, the first place I wanted to visit was Han Market. Famous as the shopping heart of the city, Han Market overwhelmed me with its hustle and bustle and variety of goods. I wandered among the stalls, shopping for souvenirs for relatives and friends. In particular, I could not miss the opportunity to enjoy Da Nang specialties right at the market. From Quang noodles to banh xeo, each dish is an interesting culinary experience, deeply engraved in my mind.
After the exciting moments at Han Market, I headed to Da Nang airport. My heart was filled with mixed emotions, from joy for having had a trip full of memories, to sadness for having to say goodbye to this beautiful land.
My flight departed on time, and after only about an hour and a half, I landed at Tan Son Nhat airport. Upon arriving home, I took the time to rest and reflect on the trip. Every moment, from the dawn in Hoi An ancient town, the joyful laughter at VinWonders Nam Hoi An, to the vibrant life of Han Market, were all valuable experiences that I will always remember.
