A skewer will consist of 4 pieces of rice cake and mozzarella cheese and be roasted on grill. If you love rice cakes but afraid of spicy and can’t eat tteokbokki, then try this. The greasy taste of of cheese combines with rice cakes will create a attractive strange taste.

Referring to ice cream cone make sure everyone knows but this giant ice cream cone up to 32cm high is a special thing in Myeongdong. The ice cream is sold both in winter and in summer so you come to Seoul at any time also will have the opportunity to enjoy it. You can choose from different flavors such as matcha, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, yogurt, green tea, … or mix 2 flavors on an ice cream, it will be OK. The cream will be a little firm compared to the creams you often eat to avoid break. But do not see that but subjective, still have to “lick” with high speed, or 2, 3 people eat together is fine. But letting the ice cream melt and pouring is a waste.

If you don’t like “giant things” like a 32cm high ice cream above, you can choose rose gelato ice cream. You will see firsthand that the seller puts each piece of cream on the cone to form a flower. Holding in hands and taking pictures, feeling very cool.

A type of Korean pancake, including squid, shrimp, octopus, mussels, garlic, scallion and onion. You can eat it with soy sauce if you want. I personally find it quite similar to Japanese pancake. A cake like this will be about 5.000 won ($4.25).

This is probably one of the most impressive food for me in Korea. The core of this mochi cake is a 100% fresh, fragrant and sweet strawberry. When you eat, remember to strong bite into the strawberry, chewing it together with the sticky mochi crust that will delicious and tasty much better.

Cotton Candy

This food is probably associated with the childhood of many people, so I don’t need to say much. But cotton candy in Myeongdong area has many eye-catching colors, unlike Vietnam with only white or pink. People also “mold” them into more shapes, so it is worth trying for fun.

Pomegranate Juice

Pomegranate Juice, myeongdong food blog, myeongdong food guide, myeongdong must eat, what to eat in myeongdong (1)

After having eaten it, then go to drink. The drinkings in Myeongdong are also very diverse: Jujube tea, banana milk, rice wine, Sikhye (a kind of soft drink from rice) … But I don’t like these drinks very much. You can try to know. And the best drink according to my experience is pomegranate juice. Partly because I really like to eat pomegranate, here I see people squeeze 100% from fresh pomegranate, then put into the bag, so clean and I love it. So you do not have to chew the pomegranate seeds, make tired tongue muscles, LOL. 5.000 won ($4.25) for a clean, fragrant bag.
