Every tiny corners of Gamcheon Village is decorated by cute and creative artworks, attracting a large number of tourist to visit and take photos.

STOP #2: TAEJONGDAE PARK (태종대)
According to the legend, Taejongdae Park is the place where the gods rest due to the beautiful natural scenery with a series of cliffs next to the sea and vigorous green pine forests.
Watching the horizon of Busan to the West on clear sunny days from the lighthouse, you can even see Tsushima Island of Japan.
You can also visit the Busan statue of a faithful woman, holding her child and waiting for her husband to return from the sea, called Mangbuseok.

STOP #3: JAGALCHI SEAFOOD MARKET (자갈치시장)
Jagalchi is Korea’s largest seafood wholesale market which has an estimate of more than 30% of the country’s catches of fish products going through the market.
Although the market specializes in seafood, it is really clean and you won’t be annoyed by the fishy smell of seafood, instead you will be able to enjoy freshly cooked seafood in the typical Busan style with an inexpensive price.

- Transportation: Metro line number 1, stop at Jagalchi Station, exit 10; or Nampo Station, exit 2, walk for about 10 minutes

STOP #4: NAMPODONG NEIGHBORHOOD (남포역)
Busan’s Nampodong is bustling no less than Seoul’s Myeongdong. Taking Gwangbok Road as the main axis, surrounding is countless shops selling from domestic to imported products, anything on earth is available here. Nampongdong is not only a favorite shopping place of the Koreans, but also an attraction in Busan that tourists must visit.

- Time spent: 2.5 hours
STOP #5: YONGDUSAN PARK (용두산공원)
Yongdusan means “dragon head mountain” in English because the shape of the mountain is quite similar to the head of a dragon. The most prominent feature of Yongdusan Park is the Busan Tower, which is nearly 200 meters tall. It is an ideal observation deck to admire the beautiful natural scenery.
The park is also a paradise for lovers, a famous dating place for young men and women in Busan since it has a romantic atmosphere with a landscape covered by green trees and flowers blooming all year round.

STOP #1: LOTTE DEPARTMENT STORE – GWANGBOK BRANCH (롯데백화점부산광복점)
Before going back to your country, it is a must to go around and shop for gifts, right? Lotte Gwangbok is not just a regular shopping mall, but also a favorite place to observe Busan’s nightview from above the ground as well.

STOP #2: GUKJE MARKET (국제시장)
If we say Busan’s Nampodong is comparable to Seoul’s Myeongdong, then Gukje is Namdaemun.
This is considered an ‘international’ market for selling goods of foreign origins. It is understandable because Busan is a port city and known as a place for traders to exchange imported goods in the history.
You can easily find a variety of items here from food to electronics. Especially, the traditional Korean dishes at the market are really delicious. You must try them before leaving Busan.
