Under the management of Council of Agriculture and at the same time the administrative center of Taipingshan Forest Farm, this place is the hub for offices, facilities, amusement parks and cuisines. This is also a stop for people who are interested in trekking. Built on a slope of the mountain, the villa neighborhood looks like a mysterious town in the middle of the fog and become super incredible during the winter when the snow sweeps across the entire region.

Around the villa neighborhood, there is a road with two lines of maple trees on the sides where you can see their beautiful red leaves if coming here at the right time. Walking on this road leading to Taiwan Cypress forest, you’ll enjoy an organic scent of the trees which is really helpful for your health. However, in order to arrive at the end of the road, you’ll need to climb up 496 stairs. Sounds tiring, but as you’re walking under the trees, you can see the sunlight filtering through maple leaves up above your head, creating a romantic atmosphere and soon you’ll forget how tiring it is. Speaking about the leaves, you don’t necessarily need to wait until autumn to see the beautiful red leaves because the lavender buds during the spring or the white snow covering the road in the winter also make this place look like a magnificent painting.
