25. Tokyo, Japan - Want to know where everyone else is going for their vacation? Euromonitor has crunched the numbers for the world's most popular destinations. Tokyo comes in at 25, with 5.99 million visitors as measured in 2014. Click on to find out which city is number one.

17. Phuket, Thailand – Unlike Pattaya, Thai coastal paradise Phuket managed to increase its visitor numbers — up 1% to 8.1 million.

That didn’t stop it slipping two places on the previous year’s ranking though.
