Located within the Resorts World Sentosa complex, S.E.A. Aquarium Singapore is one of the world’s largest aquariums, situated on Sentosa Island – Singapore’s famous entertainment island. It’s also home to many other attractions such as Universal Studios Singapore, Madame Tussauds, Wings of Time, and of course, the Singapore Oceanarium.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to discover over 100,000 marine creatures from more than 1,000 different species – from leopard sharks and giant Goliath groupers to stingrays and many endangered species. How to go to Singapore Oceanarium
Singapore Oceanarium is located on Sentosa Island, so to get there you need to travel to Sentosa Island first. There are many transportation options to choose from; please refer to the advantages and disadvantages of each option below to choose the most suitable way for you:
1. Free Shuttle Bus to Resorts World Sentosa – Singapore

2. MRT + Sentosa Express

To take the MRT from downtown Singapore to Sentosa Island, you must have a Sentosa Express ticket or a NETS FlashPlay travel card. From Harbourfront MRT station (NE1/CC29), take the escalator to level 3 of VivoCity, Hall L, and follow the signs to VivoCity Station. When taking the Sentosa Express, get off at Waterfront station, walk to the Merlion statue, then past the Candylicous store, and turn left across the bridge to find the SEA Aquarium.
Advantages: Fast and easy to follow the directions.
Limitation: If you don’t have a FlashPay card, you must exchange it for a paper ticket at the Sentosa Express counter (09:00 – 21:00).
Tip: Using a FlashPay card is more convenient – just swipe and go, costing approximately 4 SGD per trip.
3. Bus
Take bus routes: 10, 30, 65, 80, 93, 97, 100, 131, 143, 145, 166, 188 or 855 to VivoCity. Then transfer to bus RWS8, 188R or 963R to Sentosa Island (Resorts World Sentosa station). From there, walk up to level 1 to S.E.A. Aquarium.
Advantages: Economical, suitable for tourists with a moderate budget.
Disadvantage: Requires multiple transfers, more time-consuming.
4. Car/Taxi or Private Vehicle
Call a taxi directly, book a Grab, or hire a private car through Klook. The car will take you directly to Resorts World Sentosa, near the S.E.A. Aquarium entrance.
