Khao Chee Mountain – The mountain carvings the Giant Buddha image
This Khao Chee Chan mountain is located in Chon Buri province, only 15km from Pattaya. The uniqueness of this mountain is the statue of Buddha carved on the moutain by 24 karat gold, 130m high, 70m wide, built in 1996, on the occasion of King Rama IX reign over Thailand for 50 years. Surrounding the mountain is covered by countless different kinds of flowers and many temples for visitors to retreat and relax.
