Best attractions in Hong Kong Disneyland: Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland includes two locations that can never be less crowded, which are Space Mountain and Iron Man Experience.
Space Mountain is distinctive by its steep ground and sharp turn, that is why we have an epic rollercoaster here. Every ride promises riders with their hearts and stomach drop when it reaches the sharp bend, and to all thrill-seekers out there: be ready to shout your lungs out. Spoiler: you will have to dodge some flame, it is the exhilarating ride into space after all. Really makes you wonder if real astronauts get that much excitement when they do the job.
The second one, Iron Man, is the Hong Kong Disneyland exclusive ride. The spot simulates the worldly well-known superhero universe by Marvel. Riders get the chance to fly on Tony Stark’s latest invention, glide above famous attractions of Hong Kong like Tsing Ma bridge or Victoria port. Unbelievable as it may sound, but you can never know if you do not try, especially Marvel geeks.
Don’t forget to access the proper wifi connection to post your freshest selfies with Tony Stark!
Best rides in Hong Kong Disneyland: Adventureland
Adventureland in Hong Kong Disneyland is the largest Adventureland among all Disneylands on the globe. Therefore, don’t let your ticket be a waste of money if you decide not to visit here!
Adventureland is widely known for the legendary Lion King and our swinging boy Tarzan in the artificial jungle. Jungle River cruise is the highlight, offers one of the best experiences in Hong Kong Disneyland. The cruise ship floats you through the Mekong river, the Amazonas river and many other natural features that you may have only seen on Google.
Reminder: put your hats on, camouflage yourself thoroughly, and ready to confront cannibal tribes (they love headhunting, seriously).
What to do in Hong Kong Disneyland? Grizzly Gulch
Grizzly Gulch brings you back to the Wild West, with many buildings in 19th-century architecture style. Here, you are greeted by multiple popular Disney characters, but cosplaying the classic, original Western style, which is unexpectedly fancy. The cosplayers are super friendly, feel free to ask for photos with them because, it is free!
Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Car is the area’s most significant ride. Old-fashioned, simple as the cab may look at first, it can make riders re-question its safety due to all the stomach-turning speed and spins. But worry not! Every rider came back alive after the journey on Grizzly mountain with us!
Top 10 rides in Hong Kong Disneyland: Mystic Point
The only creepy zone of Hong Kong Disneyland, including Mystic Manor – Haunted Mansion in Hong Kong Disneyland version. Mystic Manor leads you to mysteriously frightening mansions with multiple special effects, just to make sure visitors have their spines chilled.
It is recommended to arrive at Mystic Point around noon so you can get lunch after harrowing experiences. Here we have Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Southeast Asian restaurants. I personally like Hainanese chicken rice, a cheap and delicious dish.

Extreme rides in Hong Kong Disneyland: Toy Story Land
A nostalgic adventure is waiting for you in Toy Story Land. The most gripping ride of this area is called Parachute Toy Soldier – does the name sound endearing to you all?
This ride is highly recommended, no matter what! Let me tell you why: this is one of the very few locations where visitors are able to observe the inclusive view of Disneyland amusement park. Toy Soldier Parachute Drop is gentle and relaxing, there is probably no scream and shout, but certainly a memorable journey.
That being the case, don’t forget to bring recording devices to capture the fascinating view, from the perspective of a parachute soldier. Oh, I forgot to mention, a 4G SIM card is a cherry on top of your wonderful visit to Disneyland.

Best things to do in Hong Kong Disneyland: Fantasyland
Just like permission back to childhood, where you get to meet the very first Disney characters, such as Dumbo, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse,… This area is also known as “Disney gen 1” – these characters are probably older than most visitors. Relive your naive memories at Fantasyland!
In addition, castles and shelters of Disney characters are all placed here. The most classic and magnificent castle belongs to Sleeping Beauty – which is also the most famous selfie, check-in spot of many ladies of the whole park.
Top 10 rides in Hong Kong Disneyland: Main Street USA
Main Street Disneyland is based on the original Main Street in Orlando. Visitors come to have a realistic view of the United States in the 20th century. Unlike the other six areas, Main Street USA does not have many attractions, it is basically a road. There won’t be many games to play but all those old-fashioned cars, those vintage castles will surely be perfect backgrounds for amazing photoshoots.
Besides, many delicious kinds of food, both western and oriental cuisine on Main Street USA are waiting to be consumed.

Best attractions in Hong Kong Disneyland: The best shows of Hong Kong Disneyland
Festival of the Lion King
This is the lively musical play about the legendary Lion King. It contains dangerous but impressive tumble jumps, together with music and lights, the performance will give the entire audience goosebumps. There were moments when I forgot I was watching a show, thought that I was living in the lion’s world. The costumes and makeups are also top-notch. Long story short, you need to see it.
There are performances at 12 pm, 2 pm, 4:30 pm and 6 pm at Adventureland. And of course, we know you want to see backflips, not backs, so be there early for the best view.
Mickey and the Wondrous Book
The performance looks like Broadway-style musical play. Duration for a play is around 28 minutes, starring many Disney vedettes: Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Ariel the little mermaid,…
Schedule: 11:15am, 12:25pm, 13:35pm, 16:20pm, 17:45pm, 18:55pm at Disney’s Storybook Theatre, Fantasyland.
