Singapore itinerary 4 days — What to do in Singapore in 4 days: Day 1: Transfer to Singapore
How to get to Singapore
To get to lion Singapore Island, the planes will always be the most essential and most convenient means. Choosing a flight at a discounted rate will also help you save up to 4 days 3 nights in Singapore. We recommend you to choose Jetstar, Viet jet or Tiger Airway at the price of 66 USD / ticket.
After boarding the flight and completing the Singapore Customs entry, at this time you have to follow the signs for the MRT to enter the city center. The time for travel can take about 1 hour.
Some tips: If you choose MRT as your primary means of transport, and at the same time to save money and avoid queues, you should buy EZ Link, which can be used for other public transport vehicles such as buses, Skytrain Monorail or Entrance ticket to Sentosa and the convenience stores. You can buy EZ Link at subway stations at the airport.
Visiting Chinatown
Often, even if you fly during the day, the tiredness after waiting a few hours procedures and waiting to fly enough to make you want to go out. But believe us, you go through Sing not to sleep, right? After arranging for your hotel room, let’s start your day exploring Singapore with the highlights of your first day with Chinatown.
After leaving Chinatown MRT Station, you are in Chinatown. Why should you come here? Because coming here, you will visit the ancient temples and many ancient houses of the Singaporeans. There is also a busy atmosphere and the interesting night market. The Chinatown night market is as bustling as its neighbors. There will be gold rings, souvenirs, clothing, and accessories of all kinds for you. But if you prefer the price, shopping in Burgis Market is cheaper.
Talking to the night market, this is also where you should try the food. Actually, the cuisine of Sing is not so attractive, even a little picky eaters. Therefore, opening food and drink with familiar dishes will help you to adapt better. Enjoying the traditional Chinese dishes like Fujian noodle, wanton noodles or grilled chicken wings is the perfect choice for you when coming here.
Some tips: You should call one item for each dish and just call more than 3 items when you go from 4 or more if you are not part of the team “eat a lot”. The families which have children, always remember to spell “No spicy” when ordering food to be spicy (not spicy food, but still eat more).
Clarke Quay
Clarke Quay is Singapore’s nightlife district. Even if you are a serious young man, do not be serious. It is really wonderful for you to be here. Gently stroll along the river or sip a cup of coffee or vitamins. If you want to play with all your heart, the bar in Clarke Quay is open until late.
Another options
Instead of visiting the places that we mentioned above, here are another places that you can visit on the first day:
+ Orchard Road: The mecca of shopping mates, most notably the Ion Orchard.
+ Kidzania Singapore: for families with children from 4 to 10 years old
+ Haji Lane: The Art Road in Kampong Glam, beautiful and strange for young people to love the new.
+ Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay: for those who want to see the sky over. You can also visit the durian theater and Gardens by the bay.
4 days in Singapore — What to do in Singapore in 4 days: Day 2: Having fun on Sentosa Island
How to get to Sentosa?
There are two ways to get to Sentosa, we choose to take the road on the island and pick the MRT on return. Most of us would like to see the sea scene of Singapore along the way. From the top floor, Vivo City has a floating walkway to Sentosa which is about 600 meters long and especially covered. So coming here we have criteria that we want fully view all the city’s landscape. If you are tired then you can take the MRT from Sentosa to Vivo City. Or you can go cable car, the price of 2-way cable is 33 SGD (quite a chatter, the same SEA Aquarium entrance fee)
Visiting Universal Studio Singapore (USS)
Located on the beautiful Sentosa Island, this is the first and only Universal Studios theme park in Southeast Asia. Coming to the Universal Studios Singapore, you will be immersed in a myriad of games ranging from light to hearty. It absolutely will be guaranteed to bring you the most exciting and wonderful moments.
USS also topped the list of parks with the largest number of queues, arriving at 10:00 am in the morning. So, you have two options, one is to go early and then “anchor” in the USS port waiting to open. The two is waiting for the place and then open the phone to book the ticket and enter the port right from the queue.
However, you have to remember that If you go through the gate, you are still lined up to play the game. Each game takes at least 20 minutes – 1 hour in a row. That is the first time you take about 4-6 hours stands “put the brick”. But as you can see, despite being crowded, the USS still attracts like magnets, probably because of its overwhelming gameplay. The game that you must definitely try is Transformers, Jurassic Park (bring the raincoat to get wet) and Revenge of the Mummy (you any fan of Egyptian Mummy do not miss the house).
Wings of the Time
A corner of Sentosa Island seems to be more special, more fun and shimmering color. Water Music Show is the preparation of large screens that combine 3D effects, water, fire, live sound, and mesmerizing verses. The musical performance is one of the highlights of Singapore’s tourism calendar.
You should arrive early at least 30-60 minutes to choose the best seat to see the show (because here served in advance to sit first). There are two types of VIP tickets and regular tickets, VIP tickets can sit in good taste, but we buy tickets can often admire this great performance, so you can consider it.
The SEA Aquarium
With the schedule as our team, you will still miss a very famous place is the SEA Aquarium. However, if you plan to combine the SEA Aquarium visit, you must be careful time and leave the USS sooner. At least you have to be at the SEA before watching the show at about 2 o’clock. If you go with a baby or your health is not good then we recommend you take the SEA for the next day.
