With the aim of protecting the beach from the impacts of natural erosion caused by the action of waves and tropical storms, Victoria Phan Thiet Resort started their large-scale renovation project from April 2015. The project completed at the beginning of December 2015 with more than 50 meters of Geotube breakwater stretching along the coastline.
This is a special solution that allows animals and plants to grow naturally, ensuring the mission of taking responsibility to the environment of Victoria’s chain of hotels & resorts. The final phase of the project has been completed after the period of covering sand for the beach with more 10.000m³ of sand.
The director of Victoria Phan Thiet Resort- Sébastien Rodriguez said: “Victoria Phan Thiet is very excited about the completion of the Geotube project. We appreciate the understanding of our guests during the construction phase, but we’re ready to take full advantage of our brand new, beautiful beach just in time for the holiday season.”
“Since the beginning of December, our hotel has been ready for the upcoming holiday season with entertaining and relaxing activities on the new shore.” he shared.
Along with the newly renovated beach, water sports including kayaking and paddleboarding have already been re-introduced.
The resort has plans to open a brand new beach bar with tables directly on the beach as well as creating a children’s playground area on the beach. Morning yoga lessons by the sea and new outdoor seating are also expected early in the New Year.
Opened in April 1997, Victoria Phan Thiet Beach Resort & Spa occupies a prime stretch of beachfront along the Phan Thiet – Mui Ne strip. Built on 7 lush hectares of botanical gardens featuring an orchid plantation, two swimming pools including an Infinity Pool facing the sea, and a Kids’ Club with pony rides for the children, the resort’s 57 spacious thatched roof bungalows enjoy direct access to the beach for the ultimate beach holiday.
Built in the style of traditional Vietnamese country houses, each bungalow is elegantly and luxuriously furnished with teak furniture, a spacious bathroom with shower inside and outside, creating a peaceful ambiance in the windy space with fresh air from the sea.
Romantic thatched roof bungalows set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, allowing it to merge harmoniously with its surroundings.
Besides the brilliant tropical gardens, Victoria Phan Thiet Resort also owns the most beautiful Infinity pool in Victoria’s hotel chain. At midday, the blue water reflects the sparkling sunlight stretching seaward, bringing a unique charm.
Moreover, staying at the Victoria Phan Thiet, you can also easily join the fascinating excursions such as watching the sunset atop of Cham towers, exploring Tien stream, or visiting stunning sand dunes.
So, Victoria Phan Thiet could be your dream destination in Vietnam if what you want is a peaceful holiday in an elegant, cozy, and reasonable resort.
