Although many new methods of catching fish have been created, the old way is also interesting. When the Li Jiang river becomes a famous attraction for tourists, images of fishermen, who go fishing by cormorants have been an extraordinary feature in Gui Lin.
On the bamboo raft with ready cormorants, the man is quiet in the night. The slight light in front of the raft attracts the fish as well as allowing him to take necessary movements. Cormorants are tied with a bamboo fishing rods. When the fish appears, the bird swoops down the water. When pulling up, there is always fish in their beak.
The fisherman has a trick to make the bird spit out the fish and an award for it will be a small fish. During the night, the fisherman and the bird are hardworking on the river. When the sun rises in the horizon and the first sunbeams spread over the limestone mountain on the Li Jiang river, he finishes his work and carries fish to the morning market.
The image of the bamboo raft takes the waves on the smooth river in the sunrise with a fisherman wearing a conical hat, some cormorants and a full baskets of fish has become an indispensable beauty on the Li Jiang river. Many photographers have taken a lot of photos on the river. It is not difficult to take a beautiful photo because the background itself is wonderful.
