Bali travel entry requirements: You Need to Know – Documents to Prepare in Advance

1. Vietnamese Passport Valid for at least 6 months
Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date you plan to leave Bali.
2. Bali Visa (For Those Going More Than 30 Days)
Vietnamese citizens are allowed to enter Indonesia (including Bali) without a visa, the stay cannot exceed 30 days. If you intend to stay longer than 30 days, you must apply for a visa before leaving.

2. Entry Declaration
Visit the website https://ecd.beacukai.go.id/ to make an electronic customs declaration, you need to fill in all the information according to the instructions and take a screenshot after completing.
4. Flight Tickets/Confirmation of Accommodation in Bali

The Bali entry declaration, also known as the Electronic Customs Declaration (E-CD), is an online declaration that does not need to be printed out and filled out on a paper form. If you do not know how to fill it out, let Klook guide you on how to fill out this declaration:
Step 1: Access the website https://ecd.beacukai.go.id/
Step 2: Select “Arrival” (Entry)
Step 3: Fill in your personal information
- Full Name: Fill in your full name as per your passport.
- E-mail: Optional
- Passport Number: Fill in your passport number
- Nationality: Select Vietnamese nationality.
- Date of Birth: Fill in your date of birth in the format dd/mm/yyyy
- Occupation (Job): Fill in your current occupation
- Address in Indonesia – hotel name / residence address: Fill in the name of the hotel or place you will stay in Bali.
- Place of Arrival: Select which province/airport you will enter from
- Flight / Voyage / Other Carrier Number: Fill in your flight number.
- Date of Arrival (DD-MM-YYYY): Fill in the date you entered
- Select Next.

Step 4: Fill in additional information
- Number of Accompanied baggage: Enter the number of your carry-on baggage
- Number of Unaccompanied Baggage: Enter the number of your checked baggage
- Number of Family Members traveling with You (only for passenger): Enter the correct number of family members traveling with you (Accompanying members, not the number of members in your household)
- If the number of members >0, there will be an information table and you need to fill in all the information of the family members as required.
- Select Add. Then select Next.

Step 5: Declare items
There will be a questionnaire about what luggage you bring when doing the entry procedures in Bali such as: Are you bringing animals, fish, foreign banknotes, sharp objects, explosives, etc. For this part, select No and then select Next if there is nothing to note.
Step 6: Declare IMEI for mobile phones, laptops, tablets
For this part, select No and then select Next.

Step 7: Submit the declaration and save the QR code
After submitting the declaration, you will receive a QR code. Please save this QR code to show to the customs officer when entering the country.
Note:
- It is recommended to fill out the E-CD declaration at least 24 hours before arriving in Bali.
- You can edit your declaration if any information changes.
- In addition, you can also download the “BCN Mobile” application to declare the E-CD on your smartphone.

Items Not Allowed When Entering Bali
To ensure the security and safety of visitors, the Bali government has regulations to restrict or prohibit the carrying of certain items when entering the country. Below is a list of items you should note.
