Located near the main ferry terminal of the island, Lipa Noi is a convenient choice for travelers traveling from the mainland to Samui. The beach has smooth white sand, no rocks or coral under water so this is one of the safest places for children on the island. The water is quite shallow, about 100m deep. About accommodation, you can find scattered bungalows, or more luxurious resorts, including the world-famous Nikki Beach. In additional, there are some cool bars on the beach, but there are not many fun activities, so there are not many tourist attractions, especially when you are in a large group together.

Taling Ngam
The pristine beaches nestled in the jungle and the stunning landscape of Ang Thong Marine National Park blends together making Taling Ngam become one of the island’s most photographed sites. Looking to the West, this place also gives you the opportunity to admire the spectacular sunset. There are a variety of accommodation choices from the budget guesthouses to the luxurious resorts, all just 20 to 30 minutes drive from Nathon — the nearest town and an hour’s drive from Chaweng town. Saying so to assert that if you are on a leisurely holiday, lazy and in a tropical vacation, Tailing Ngam is the choice very hard to beat in Samui.
Silver
Silver is a tropical paradise beach about 250 meters long, located in a small charming bay facing northeast, located right north of Lamai beach. This place is also known as Haad Thong Ta-khian (in Thai language means beach of Ta-khian tree), Silver Beach has four perennial hotels and restaurants: Crystal Bay Beach Resort, Silver Beach Resort, Thongtakian Resort, and Crystal Bay Yacht Club spread along the entire length of the beach. However, according to Thailand’s law, even if you do not stay in these areas, you are still free to explore the beautiful sand dunes, which offer plenty experiences such as sunbathing, swimming and splashing, especially ideal for scuba diving.
Samrong Beach and Thongson Bay
Samrong Beach and Thongson Bay are the northernmost destinations of Samui. Situated side by side on a small cliff between Bangrak Beach and Choeng Mon, this property has its own stunning views of Koh Phangan Island about 10 km away. Both locations are very convenient for visitors because there are many good choices for hotels, including some names such as Melati resort, Arayaburi Boutique, to NB Villa Saa. Both of these bays (actually three if you include the natural beach “Naturism Beach”, located 100 meters from Thongson Bay) beautifully simplicity with clear sea water, white sandy beach, and feeling as if there is only you on this beach.
Bang Por
Located just right west of the Maenam Sea, Bang Por is the most comfortable beach on the north of the north side of Samui. If the award for “Best beach for backpackers” was previously awarded to Maenam, it now belongs to Bang Por, even the top resorts such as Four Seasons Koh Samui are also located on this beach. With a length of nearly 11 km, cut by the mouth of the Phong Phae River and a small land, Bang Por owns the longest sand beach in Samui. Surrounded by countless bars and restaurants, with plenty of accommodation options and retaining its original tropical feel, so this place become an attractive destination.
