Although only 60km from Nha Trang but Jungle Beach completely seclude from the noise, hustle and bustle of the city. Located in Hon Heo peninsula, Ninh Phuoc Hamlet, Ninh Hoa district, Khanh Hoa province, Jungle Beach is exactly a great harmony between the forest and the sea.
If you need a quiet moment, a private space, a place where no one knows who you are or you want to go to a deserted island, the Jungle Beach is a great choice that you should try.
Jungle Beach is very quiet and secluded. The bedrooms available for visitors staying here are very special and nature-friendly. On fewer people days, you can choose the biggest, most beautiful room.
However, do not expect the modern amenities such as air conditioning, so here are just a fan and you will have to sleep on mattresses with mosquito net.
In addition, there will be some rooms without a private bathroom, so you have to share with others. Another suggestion would be to select the rooms with garret to be able to sightsee, take photos, and especially not being in humid condition.
A night lying on the high floor, there is nothing than a quiet space and the sound of ocean wave will take you to sleep comfortably.
The cost of a night at Jungle Beach has included three main meals at 7pm in the morning, a lunch at12:30 pm, a dinner at 6:30 pm. Therefore, you do not need to worry about the where to eat anymore.
When it is the time to eat, the staff will inform all rooms , then all visitors staying here will gather together at the main house and have meals together.
Visitors here are mostly foreigners, so in mealtimes, you will feel very interesting as if you were attending “the meeting of United Nations” with all sorts of different languages.
There are not such dishes like in a restaurant, or not specialties at all, but familiar dishes of Vietnam and served in the Vietnamese style. However, the food is cooked to fit with foreigners’ taste, so it will be a little light. If you are Vietnamese, you will be given an extra cup of sliced chili fish sauce, a tasty specialty of Khanh Hoa province.
The fried fish salad of Jungle Beach is a simple dish but indescribably delicious.
The fried fish is sliced thinly, mixed with onions and laksa leaves. Grilled eggplant onion over charcoal has an aroma , the more you eat this fatty food, the more you addict in.
In your breakfast, you can choose between noodles, bread with eggs, bread with butter and jam, or a plate of fruit. Besides, Jungle Beach serves free lemonade all day and night, you can go to the main house to drink.
Coming to Jungle Beach, do not miss swimming because this place owns a long private beach and this beach is stunning, especially in the summer. Not to mention this is a paradise for those who can not swim because the beach is very safe, children are also very safe when swimming here.
You also do not miss sunbathing on long wooden chairs made by the owner of Jungle Beach.
Sunbathing then certainly you should take photos here because of the beauty of nature that can not be ignored: white sand, blue sea. Especially, you can comfortably change your posture when taking photos without “being bothered“.
For those who are passionate about sports, you can choose to play beach volleyball or soccer. Also, in the big waves days, foreigners are very excited to be skiing.
And for those who are love adventure, then take a walk to the top of Hon Heo. You will find a beautiful lake, green water poured from the fall. You will spoil yourself and swim because the water flows very light.
A bit higher is the ideal altitude for you to challenge yourself with thrilling games when jumping from the top of the waterfall into the pool. On the way down the mountain, you will once meet a lake again, an opportunity for you to enjoy before returning to Jungle Beach.
You should not go too late, especially after 3pm because climb up and down take so much time, living in the forest in the evening will not be safe.
Every night at Jungle Beach, there always has camp-fire off the coast and people gather to chat to get to know each other.
If you in a large group, you can bring food, and then the food is processed and stored in the refrigerator by the chef here. In the evening, you can carry the food to make barbecue outdoor with a few bottles of beer to sip. There is not nothing more fantastic.
June is the best time to come to Jungle Beach because of the clear sky and the quiet sea. You will have a chance to see sea fireflies glowing along the beach or a starry sky at night. Watching the sunrise in the morning and watching the black-shanked douc leaving the nest to feed. You can only experience these special things at Jungle Beach.
Most visitors here are the artists such as architects, singers, musicians, painters, fashion designers, graphic designers, photographers … and all people are very open to share, then it will be the home for the artists.

How to get to Jungle beach Vietnam
Jungle Beach is located 60 Kms north of Nha Trang by road. Apparently it is near the town of Ninh Hoa. If you look at the following google map, and click to minus ( – ) button once (or maybe twice), you’ll see Ninh Hoa to the west (and Nha Trang is to the south), there is a road to the peninsular that goes to Ninh Phuoc. Jungle Beach is just off this road (near the green).
Some years ago, the beach was a deserted outpost on Ka Ga Cape & Dam Nha Phu Bay. Some Canadian guy decided to build a dinner/bed/breakfast & lunch option and called it Jungle Beach Resort.
Directions – Getting There
Driving north on Pacific Coastal Highway 1 from Nha Trang head north toward Ninh Hòa Village. Stay straight once you get into Ninh Hoa and take the right road when it split into two. The road runs past a huge sign pointing to Hyundai refitting ocean-going tankers ship yard. Make a right turn at the sign and proceed down the long stretch. Go around the right side of the ship yard after passing by the large ship through a small fishing village. At the dead end of a 3 way intersection in front of the village market, make a right turn and head to the end of the road. Jungle beach is located on the left side at the end of that road.
If coming by tourist bus from Hoi An, get off at the Doc Let stop and ask motorbike drivers to take you to Jungle beach for about VND 50,000 per bike or $3.50 US dollars each. The motorbike will get you to Jungle Beach in 30 minutes or less. Jungle beach can also arrange a van for VND 200,000 to pick you and your families up from Doc Let or Ninh Hoa. Call Silvio at Jungle beach (058) 622.384 to make arrangement in advance.
If coming by plane or train, Jungle Beach can arrange your transport at very reasonable prices from Nha Trang Airport. From Nha Trang city, cars and mini vans will take you here for around 280,000 to 350 000 VND depending on the number of people and the vehicle type. Motorbike riders will cost anywhere between 100,000 & 150,000 VND.
