BW General Store is a harmonious combination of minimalism and retro. From the old door to the table, the wooden chair with tones of grey color with the items of the shop, that make anyone standing in the middle of this space also has a calm feeling.
The General Store’s menus are short but eye catching, with classic desserts that are staged follow style of “less is more”.
As a concept store, so the special point here also sells hand-made wrap gifts and daily decoration vintage accessories extremely unique and characteristic. The fragrant and beautiful cookies packages are baked, carefully packaged and neatly arranged in the tray. The fresh jars of jam, sparkling under the yellow light, so attractive isn’t it? The innkeeper who loves Japan so much (actually 90% of Taiwanese people love Japan), he also lived in Japan for a while, so there are also Japan albums and Japanese housewares which carefully hand picked by the shop owner.
There are not many sophisticated accessories and fixtures, minimalist style that exudes a sense of serenity and comfort, a slow and gentle of rhythmic breathing was needed between the hustle and bustle of the capital city of Taipei.
The restaurant is quite unique, so the dining at the shop also unique. There are days you can eat at the restaurant, and there are days you have to fasting and get home. Flügel Studio: The dessert paradise
Flügel Studio is one of the King of Desserts in Taipei. Definitely is the King! Let’s come here, then you will understand why.
All kinds of desserts such as: pastries, biscuits, tart cakes, and sponge cake, pies … None of these can make difficult for the chefs to bake here.
One more amazing thing is, “No one can swim in the same river twice” when coming to Flügel Studio. The menu of the restaurant renews daily. So when come here to eat and then you will do not know how to review is right…
But there is a special taste that is not mixed in any taste. That is the cheese taste in the combo of cheese blueberry pie and all types of flower tea at the shop. The fatty and tough cheese blended with the scent and greasy of milk, with light and slightly sour taste of blueberry, the taste can call the name “delicious death”, melting on the tip of the tongue.

La Vie Friande
Too difficult, isn’t it? Private dining style is not yet widely available in Asian countries, but since handmade desserts and drinks are prepared very unique and partly because of the “feel ill” in the reserve culture of this shop that create has created a special attraction. La Vie Friande is the brainchild of a Taiwanese girl who grew up in Taipei. After bored with the unhappy working life at the office, she go to school and learn how to make bakeries and set up a space in her own living room to serve “desserts” for the sweet devotees.
