Com tam
In Con Dao, when a tourist ask about a com tam place, he/she will be immediately guided to the com tam place: Ms. Thuy near a primary school. Com tam of this place is famous for being delicious with a hot, tender, tasty grilled slice of meat.
The meat is seasoned delicately and very tasty. In addition to meat, there are also many options to choose to eat with the rice, such as delicious ‘bì’ ( which is made from the skin of a pig), fried egg or ‘chả trứng’. And it’s a must to use the sauce (originally from fish sauce, but after some steps of process so it has a little sweet and maybe spicy at the same time).
Muc nuong sa te
After swimming in the water, playing on the beach, the tourists can choose to eat some snacks at the seaside food stalls.
Here the squids which the fishermen caught in the morning are extremely fresh, creating a delicious dish to eat with a great sauce from chili oil, paprika, fried garlic, a little grinded lemongrass and fish sauce.
