As soon as putting the first step into the café, you will be surrounded by an ancient peaceful atmosphere full of tea aroma. As you wish, you can either stay inside to enjoy the neat and cosy nostalgic atmosphere, or sit in the garden watching the romantic beauty of the yellowish stained walls and the baskets of creepers hung along the path.

Cocobox – No. 94 Le Loi Street

LE Fê Cafétéria – 69/3 Phan Chau Trinh Street

Situated on a small alley on Phan Chu Trinh street and totally obscured from the view is the LE Fê Cafétéria. Therefore, many tourists often miss this wonderful place.

The first highlight of the LE Fê Cafétéria is its small faded wooden signboard. When going inside, tourists can enjoy the peaceful and large open space. There are three small compartments in total. The outside and the last compartments are open space in which there are green trees and natural light. The middle one is used to display old-fashioned objects, such as books, old televisions, dial phones, and so on.

Hai cafe – 11 Tran Phu Street

As a cafe with an ancient-house design, Hai cafe has two facades facing two main streets. One compartment of the cafe is a huge yard with high tables and chairs, colorful linen-wrapped pillows and refreshingly cool foliage. The other compartment of the cafe is smaller, yet it has a bracingly cool veranda. At midday when it is really hot, there is nothing better than hiding yourself under that small veranda, playing your favorite song, sitting under the dense ivy foliage, resting on a bamboo chair and drinking a glass of cool fruit juices.

Cargo – 107 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street

Despite its short time of opening, Cargo Club has become extremely famous in Hoi An City, especially among foreign tourists. It not only has vast and modern space but also preserves the antique and peaceful styles of Hoi An. Decorated in white and in an elegant and simple style, Cargo brings to their customers gentle and open feelings.

The Chef – 166 Tran Phu Street

This place seems to be still a new destination for those who have been familiar with Hoi An’s old bungalows with red-tiled roofs. Being a restaurant, Chef, however, offers a menu of various drinks. You can easily choose this place as a stop to enjoy morning coffee.

The second floor, where coffee is served, is eye-catching decorated with dark-colored wooden walls. The tables and chairs arranged here are large enough for tourists to comfortably read books while enjoying coffee. This place is the most ideal position for those who want to try the experience of reading a book in the quiet atmosphere of an old town. However, if you want to watch people passing by, a seat on the balcony or the terrace will be a really good choice. It is believed that Chef is absolutely the best place for you to watch Hoi An as a slow and old town from above.

May Concept – 8C Nguyen Thị Minh Khai Street

May Concept is situated at 8C Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, near the Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda. This place is quite special, for it is both a coffee shop and a clothing store. Therefore, you can also buy some items as souvenirs for your family and friends after enjoying coffee here.

All rooms in May Concepts are furnished with dark-colored wooden items in order to create an ancient and cozy atmosphere. There is also a small open garden for nature-loving people to sit enjoying a cup of tasty tea or coffee. Nevertheless, what helps this place attract more tourists is the friendly and hospitable staff. Tourists coming to May Concept are always welcome by amiable smiles and heartfelt greetings from the staff.

Gemsone Art Museum – 130 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street

Situated at 130 Nguyen Thai Hoc Str. is a museum cum coffee shop called Gemsone Art Museum (Museum of Gems). Here, tourists can be fascinated with the display of hundreds of gems being collected from the North to the South of Vietnam. It is the attainment of an over 20-year period of gem collection by a beautiful lady, Ms. Duong Nga.

You can take a sip of coffee at a private zone and admire the masterpieces of gems. Luckily enough, you may come across the coffee shop owner and have a conversation with about those precious gems.

Mango Rooms – 111 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street

Everything in this one of the most beautiful and lovely coffee shops in Hoi An shows their vivid colors. Every item from the walls, pillows, bar to each set of table and chairs, ceiling fans and dishes, etc. is covered with joyful and outstanding shades of color. Mango Rooms brings its customers a feeling of a half-painted yet harmonious and eye-catching picture.

The two main zones of Mango Rooms are of distinctive styles in decoration and design.
